What’s new at The First Tee of Harrisonburg

The First Tee's 12th Annual Golf Classic

The First Tee of Harrisonburg will be holding its 12th Annual Golf Classic at Heritage Oaks Golf Course on Saturday, June 15th with the opening shotgun start at 8am. The format will be Captain's Choice (best ball) with 4-Player teams. Teams will be competing for lots of prizes and all proceeds from this tournament will go towards The First Tee of Harrisonburg and its programs.

Remember: everyone must go through PLAYer and pass certification before moving on to Par, Birdie, and Eagle classes.

In a past independent research study of The First Tee, 73% of young people at participating chapters reported high confidence in their ability to do well academically and 52% credited the program fort their ability to appreciate diversity.
